Description
All people have a “world view” through which they interpret the news and facts of the day. Yet many will see things very differently. It is vitally important for any student of our culture, and for Christians interested in effectively sharing their faith to understand the reasons why different people believe differently. It is only then that true communication about the reality of the Gospel occurs.
This class will look at basic worldviews held by modern Americans including: scientific naturalism, nihilism, existentialism, eastern pantheism (panentheism), New Age, Postmodernism, and Islam.
The class will concentrate on discussion and interaction around the topics, with class members encouraged to share the philosophies they have encountered in daily life.
